If you’ve been in this business long enough, you know the controls are the first thing to go on a cheap fryer. I specifically chose this EasyRose model because it uses authentic Robertshaw® safety and temperature valves. The difference in quality compared to the generic valves you find on other budget fryers is night and day. The thermostat is incredibly responsive and I don't have to worry about the gas pilot constantly failing during service. It’s an ETL-certified tank that feels like it’s built for 10+ years of hard use. 120k BTU is plenty of power for our high-volume wing night. Highly recommend paying a little more for the reliability of Robertshaw.
Opened my fried chicken spot last month and couldn't afford $2k+ for a brand name fryer. This EasyRose does the exact same thing for way less. The 4 tubes heat up fast and it's easy to drain at night. If you're starting out, don't overthink it, just get this one.
I've been in this industry for 20 years and I usually only trust the big names, but this EasyRose surprised me. Dialed it to 350 and my laser temp gun showed 351. That kind of precision at this price is rare. The cool zone is deep too, so I’m already seeing my oil lasting an extra day or two.
Checked the thermostat w/ my digital probe and it’s dead on. The cool zone is deep enough that the breading sediment doesn't burn and ruin the whole batch of oil. Saves me money on oil changes every week. This thing pays for itself in a few months just on oil savings alone.
Giving 4 stars only because you really need to make sure your LPG tank and regulator can handle 120,000 BTU. I had to upgrade my hose to get the full power out of the 4 burners. Once I fixed that, this thing has been a monster. Fried wings are consistently golden. It's a heavy beast, so don't try to move it by yourself.
Was a bit skeptical switching from big name brands, but this 4-burner setup is legit. The temp recovery is actually faster than the older Pitco we have on the line. 120k BTU is no joke. We're dropping back-to-back baskets of wings and it doesn't dip more than 10 degrees. Genuine Robertshaw parts sealed the deal for me.
